Allison Moon, Author

Allison Moon is the author of five books including the critically acclaimed sexual education guide Girl Sex 101 (Goldie Award for Nonfiction, Rainbow Award), Getting It: A Guide to Hot, Healthy Hookups and Shame-Free Sex, and the erotic memoir Bad Dyke  (Publisher’s Weekly Starred Book). Allison is a popular sex educator, leading workshops on sexual pleasure and technique, polyamory, LGBTQ+ issues, and more. She has been quoted in CosmopolitanNew York magazine, and the Washington Post. Her other writing includes articles for Bustle, and stories for the RISK! podcast, Bawdy Storytelling, and various anthologies. Allison was a 2011 Lambda Literary Emerging LGBT Authors Fellow. She has a degree in Neuroscience from Oberlin College. Allison has presented her workshops — on strap-on sex, polyamory, sexual self-expression, erotica writing, and more — to thousands of people around the US and Canada.

Tobi Hill-Meyer made her film making debut in 2010, winning an Award for Emerging Filmmaker of the year and being named #3 in Velvet Park Media’s list of the 25 Most Significant Queer Women of 2010. She is a multiracial trans woman with over a decade experience working with feminist and LGBTQ organizations on a local, state, and federal level, having served on several boards and offering support as a strategic consultant. Since receiving her degree in Sociology and Women and Gender Studies, Tobi has turned her focus to media analysis and productions. Tina Horn (@TinaHornsAss) is a writer, educator, media-maker, and professional macho slut. She produces and hosts the sexuality podcast “Why Are People Into That?!” (whyarepeopleintothat.com / @intothatpodcast) . She holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence. Jiz Lee  has performed in porn for more a decade, in over 200 projects from six countries spanning independent, queer, and hardcore gonzo pornography. Reid Mihalko Sex and relationship expert Reid Mihalko of www.ReidAboutSex.com helps adults create more self-esteem, self-confidence and greater health in their relationships and sex lives using an inspiring mixture of humor and knowledge. Sarah Mueller is a sex educator at The Smitten Kitten, a progressive sex toy store in Minneapolis, MN. Along with education and sales, Sarah coordinates sex positive art shows at Smitten Kitten with local artists and kinky crafters, manages inventory, helps with website maintenance, and has previously written for Smitten Kitten’s educational blog and participated in their Sex & Coffee Podcast. Aside from Macalester College’s weekly newspaper, in which Sarah wrote the weekly sex advice column for 2 and a half years, Girl Sex 101 if her first real publication, and she’s looking forward to being published in the first issue of the Nu Project Magazine.
